Do you want to get rid of spam comments in WordPress? In this video, I show you how you can achieve that. There is an amazing plugin called Akismet that will detect and remove spam comments from your website, so you don’t have to delete those comments manually.
First I show you the amount of spam comments I have, then I will install Akismet, create an account, activate my account, get the API key, and activate the plugin on my website. Then I will show you after a few days how much comments have been removed automatically by Akismet. The great thing is that I do not get all those emails telling me there is a new (spam) comment on my website.
I have more than 50 websites. Using Akismet I have peace of mind when it comes to spam comments.
